Giant sized elephant folio bound in green gilt stamped cloth with 24 beautiful full page plates, each protected by a thicker patterned glassine tissue guard.

253/4 x 19 inches. Elephant Folio.

In  FINE condition in a near fine slipcase showing the slightest wear. Volume in mylar. An interesting work rarely found in this condition.

[1 blank leaf]+[1 leaf with title recto/colophon verso]+[3 leaves of Introduction]+[1 leaf with Preface recto/full page map verso]+ Plates 1-24 accompanied by 1 leaf of description (2 pages) with plates guarded by a decorative patterned glassine tissue +[1 leaf limitation]+[1 blank end leaf]. Complete.
